Articles/News Clippings

Have something historical to share?

Newspaper and magazine articles written years ago about people, places, and events in the university area are among the best ways to document and record history of the area. Having a copy of the article essentially preserves important facts about the university neighborhoods. The Archives Project is especially seeking documentation about the community for the following periods of time:

  • Prior to 1900
  • 1900-1920, including WWI
  • 1920-1939
  • 1940-1945 – the WWII years
  • 1945-1960s – the post-war years
  • 1960s to the 1970s
  • 1970s through the mid and late 1980s

If you have newspaper and magazine articles and would like them to find a good home, you can drop them off at the UDO office at Room 200, Northwood-High Building, 2231 N. High Street.

Please call first at 470.1006 to see if we’re home!
