The aptly named "Olentangy River Greenway" runs along the banks of the Olentangy River, from Worthington Hills Park in Worthington to Confluence Park, downtown. All told, the trail covers 12.75 miles.
On a trek southward, The University District's portion of the trail begins at the waters edge and travels through the heavily wooded north end of Tuttle Park. Near the Tuttle Park Recreation Center, the tree cover gives way to green fields. A short distance on and Ohio Stadium comes into view as the trail skirts around the University and head toward Battelle.
Throughout the University District, the greenway is well maintained and recent construction work has brought improvements to the roadway. Construction work is ongoing so expect detours near campus.
