Campus Hop

August 16th, 2007

High Street in the University District is the scene for three Campus Hops this summer – June 21, July 19 and August 16 – which feature free outdoor movies on the Wexner Center plaza, live music, restaurant specials, sidewalk sales, historic campus tours and interesting exhibits.

Each Campus Hop runs from noon to midnight with activities designed to appeal to people of all ages. The Ohio State University will observe Staff Appreciation Week from August 12-18. Come to the Campus Hop and celebrate the thousands of university employees who support Ohio States teaching, research and service missions.

Come to a Campus Hop to enjoy a leisurely Thursday afternoon and evening. You can stroll along Ohio’s greatest "Main Street" and slip over to the shade and serenity of Ohio State University’s Oval.

Parking is available in the South Campus Gateway garage (entrances off East 11th and East 9th avenues) and the Arps Parking Garage, 1990 College Road. In the event of inclement weather, the movie will be shown in the Wexner Center’s film/video theater. Other activities will be moved indoors as appropriate.
