  • Zoe Strauss (b. 1970) makes us see things we ordinarily don’t notice, or don’t want to notice. For this presentation, an image of cloud cover shot from a plane window on a journey home from Columbus offers an ironically elevated backdrop for resolutely down-to-earth images taken in South Philly and on her travels to such locales as Biloxi, Chicago, Las Vegas, Atlanta, and the Muckleshoot Indian reservation in Washington state.
