The University District Organization (UDO) is the recipient of a 2013 United Way Neighborhood Partnership Grant for its project "Faces & Facts - A Strategic Evaluation of the University District Image." The funding will be used to implement a branding and messaging strategy for the University District and its eleven neighborhoods. The process will engage residents, businesses, and neighboring institutions. It will be designed to reflect upon the assets of the University District, create graphics and messages that embody the true University District character, and evaluate the avenues that should be used to share the University District's assets with the greater community.
UDO has selected local branding and graphics firm, Fulcrum Creatives to guide the discovery process and finished products. Their approach to assisting other non-profits and peer Columbus neighborhoods matches closely with the values of UDO.
