L I V E / Neighborhoods / Weinland Park
The Oakland/Northwood area was platted and settled between the turn of the century and World War I. The styles are American Four Square with touches of Classical, Prairie, Colonial and Craftsman.
The tree lined streets were developed as one of the first "subdivisions" in the city. Residents took great pride in the neighborhood and their gardens for which they became well known for throughout the city.
This is an historic neighborhood with large homes, front porches and brick alleys. There is a very high percentage of owner occupancy.
