"I have been around the University District for 20 years. It's vibrant, and full of a wide variety of people. I have many interests and there's no other place in Columbus where you're as likely to meet people who can talk ancient history, comics, David Lynch films, and all kinds of music.
I was interested in the cause of suicide prevention and it was located in the North Central Mental Health building, so I came to the mountain, so to speak. I've been volunteering at Suicide Prevention Services's hotline for 7 years now. Also, Neil Armstrong came to my First Communion party, and I have five tattoos, all hidden when I go to work (though you can see the two biggest ones when I wear shorts)."
