Conceptual Thoughts / Inspiration

Jellow Fever is a collaborative project between Khaila Carr and Tyler Davis which spans over a multitude of mediums. Both artists focus on these platforms as individuals and explore making through event driven projects. We make zines, print shirts, paint murals, and more! As two individuals who were raised in Columbus, we both jump at any opportunity to help make our community grow brighter! We aim to push creative thinking - Jellow Fever’s mantra is "Read More. Make More." Together, we hope to inspire others to create!

Our goal with this project was to provide a design that was happy and colorful. We both love this city and hope to see more color in public spaces, especially with all of the current construction. We wanted to reflect university culture and the vibrant Columbus community! We were very stoked to hear that our design was going to be displayed at the Gateway location - we walk here all the time for food, drinks, and movie dates. It’s been so awesome to see our work displayed out front! Thank you again to all who made this project possible and congrats to the other artists! Keep making!
